We are currently looking for dedicated Loader Operator join our skilled Asphalt department today! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Travel between asphalt plants depending on work load at each location - Operate loader to feed aggregate to asphalt and ready mix plants - Run and maintain rail off load system for rock deliveries - Stockpile incoming material, monitor stockpile volumes and coordinate deliveries - Assist in the maintenance and housekeeping of the asphalt, ready mix plants and the rail off load system - This position will include asphalt load out when needed and will require night shifts and weekends when needed - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed - Other duties assigned as needed Compensation: The wage range for this position is $22.39-$27.10/hr.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in the safe and efficient operation of a loader - Experience with conveyors, aggregate systems, mechanical and fabrication skills - Ability to operate automated control systems, and have working knowledge of computers - Ability to communicate effectively while maintaining positive interactions with others under stressful situations - Must be highly motivated and a self starter with the drive to expand job knowledge and skills - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen - Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and overtime - Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members
