Knife River has an immediate opening for a Scale Person in Casper WY.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate truck scales through computer terminal
- Answer telephones and wait on customers
- Dispatch some local trucks for deliveries and scheduling
- Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Aptitude for dealing with customers, sales, and problem solving
- Ability to operate computer terminal and manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Legible handwriting, good organizational, communication, math and writing skills
- Must be people oriented, able to provide exceptional customer service, empathetic and flexible
- Knowledge of market area and previous construction experience helpful but willing to train the right individual
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
