SHOP FOREMAN - Day Shift

We have an excellent opportunity for a Shop Foreman (Day Shift) at our Shop in Beaverton, Oregon!

- The shop foreman will coordinate activities of shop personnel engaged in repair and service of trucks and equipment.
- Review requests for repair, help determine problems and recommend solutions.
- Schedule and assign work, coordinate efforts, provide technical guidance and review progress of all assignments.
- Communicate with the Equipment Manager daily.
- Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
- Manage large repair projects internally and with outside vendors.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
- Other duties assigned as needed.

Hours:
-Usually 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, but may vary depending on work load. This candidate must be able to work overtime, off shifts & Saturdays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five plus years of heavy duty diesel mechanic experience with knowledge of mining equipment and trucks.
- Must have or be able to obtain CDL License and HAZMAT Endorsement.
- Strong trouble shooting skills.
- Previous supervisory skills.
- Strong verbal, written and computer skills needed.
- Must be very reliable, able to work well under pressure and have the ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members.
