Minimum Qualifications:
Financial Analyst I/II/III (level is dependent on years of experience): • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience will be considered. • Two-Four years’ experience in payroll. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy, independent judgement, and analysis. • Experience with of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience in JD Edwards and UKG applications. • Experience in multi-state reporting.
Job Responsibilites:
• Analyze data, balance transactions, and review input for accuracy. • Verify, investigate, and correct discrepancies in payroll reporting and payments. • Execute routine reports and respond to non-routine data requests. • Research state and federal payroll laws. • Understand implications and ensure appropriate code of transactions in different tax jurisdictions. • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and preserve open communication with business unit customers. Utilize team resources to provide answer to customers. • Comply with data integrity, confidentiality, and security requirements. • Support shared services management’s strategy, leadership, initiatives, and culture. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Compentencies:
• Must be capable of working on items of a moderately complex nature. • Thorough knowledge of personal computers, ERP or accounting applications, and complex spreadsheet functions. • Demonstrated customer focus and excellent team interaction skills. • Must be able to recognize changing priorities and shift work focus appropriately. Must have independent thought process and work with minimal day to day direction. • Ability to use findings from one transaction to search and identify all other like transactions and apply appropriate corrective actions.
