Knife River trucking department has openings for Aggregate Delivery Drivers. Our drivers will haul aggregate material out of our Honey Creek Quarry located in Burnet and other surrounding plants as needed. Our drivers are home every night, and we offer competitive wages with a full benefits package.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
-Must meet Knife River-South employment standards with regards to background/MVR checks.
-Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours (daytime/nighttime).
-Ability to work outside in all seasons.
-Must have a “safety first” attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
-One year of DOT truck driving experience is preferred but WE WILL TRAIN.
-One year of operating tractor-trailer trucks is preferred but WE WILL TRAIN.
-Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license with clean driving record.
-Class A CDL minimum requirement.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Safely deliver materials to contractors, customers and Knife River projects.
- Become familiar with our products and provide excellent customer service.
- Complete pre and post trip inspections on equipment.
- Maintain driver’s daily log and legal load limits.
- Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
- Maintain a clean truck appearance by complying with Knife River’s operational policies, procedures and standards.
- Ability to climb, lift, pull, stoop and walk on uneven ground as needed throughout the day.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
-Timely and regular attendance is essential.
