Our goal is to build strong teams that, in turn, build strong communities. Join our growing team today! We are currently looking for a dedicated Dispatcher to join our skilled team in Portland, OR. Dispatcher responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Receive phone orders for Ready-mix Deliveries. - Monitor and coordinate jobsite delivery and truck activity through computer terminal. - Become familiar with the abilities of a ready-mix truck. - Provide excellent customer service and build close customer relationships. - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed. - Other duties assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: - Previous truck driving and/or dispatching experience and knowledge of the Portland area is preferred. - Knowledge of DOT regulations and previous construction experience is helpful. - Working knowledge of computers, Office software and website navigation. - Aptitude for rapid learning and growth. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam, and drug screen. - Valid driver's license in good standing.
